The Doorsey story

Our Story

Doorsey co-founders Jordan Allen, Nick McLain and Matt Melville are seasoned home buyers and sellers who experienced first-hand the frustrations of the traditional blind-offer process in the overheated housing market of Spokane, Washington. They conceived of Doorsey as an antidote to the heartache of a process where buyers lack visibility into whether their offers are competitive, and sellers lacked confidence that they are getting the best price for their homes.

Doorsey is committed to working directly with the local real estate community to build and evolve the platform, and we have conducted a successful pilot in the Spokane market. We are planning a phased rollout to ensure the platform is meeting the needs of the communities it serves and can evolve as additional needs are uncovered.  

Doorsey recently completed a successful seed round of $4.1 million to fuel our growth plans. Investors include notable names such as 166 2nd Financial Services, Agya Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, SRM Development, Sam Parr, and Francis Davidson.
